Well, things here in Mediaprovider just went a bit weird.
Yesterday it was announced IDG Denmark (the publisher of Computerworld) is buying ComON.dk and CRN.dk.
As I am moving to Bruxelles in August to work there as a journalist, IDG was not interested in me continuing at ComON.dk. Thus I am going to work on the Mediaprovider magazine Gear and Gear.dk and Mobil.nu for two months! Much interesting with new tasks for such a short time. And half of the time I will be on vacation. Its much more b2c, less b2b.
Btw, my new job is at the office of the regional authority of Zealand in Bruxelles. My main task will be to write hardcore EU news with a focus on matters with high relevance to the regional and local authorities. Its a catch.
My EU blog www.euzoo.dk – which I co-started with Andreas Marckmann Andreassen – is once again running after a break from October till August. The standby was due to an overload of work and our daily life in Lebanon.
This time we have been joined by Jakob Hvide Beim, a former intern with Dagbladet Politiken in Bruxelles.
Its great to be back in the EU blogosphere and Jakob is indeed a great and clever guy to work with!
Last Friday I was examined for almost one hour by my academic adviser and an external examiner. They liked my work (I got grade 7, which is a bit above average), so I am now an educated journalist with a professional title from The Danish School of Media and Journalism. Hurrah!!!

Here I am on graduation day, standing outside at the school where I was enrolled for four years. My brother Mathias is the photographer.
IT jobs, Google tax, data loss, Chinese hackers and sabotage of internet debates.
These were the issues I dealt with in this weeks articles I wrote for the IT media ComON.dk. It was the first week at my new job and I loved it.
In the same while I have been preparing for my final journalist exam at the Danish School of Media and Journalism. The exam is Friday 16th at 10.30 and it is an one hour defense of my BA project.

Tuesday the 16th of March I handed in my graduate BA project at the Danish School of Journalism.
The topic for my project was the rules for marriage in Lebanon, where most of the countries sects prohibit their members to marry interreligious. The couples with different have to convert or marry in another country, which is outraging the secular minded Lebanese. Thus, Lebanese NGOs annually in March arranges demonstrations for the introduction of a civil marriage in Lebanon.
